The ISNMP Conference 2026
Welcome to the Second ISNMP Conference which is scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 4, 2026 at the Häckers' Grand Hotel in Bad Ems, Germany. Visit also the UNESCO Page about Bad Ems.
Dedications: The conference will be held in memory of the late Wilhelm I Fushchich on his 90th anniversary and in honour of Jarmo Hietarinta on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
Special Session: We plan a Special Session on Symbolic Computation in memory of our dear colleague Thomas Wolf who tragically died in a car accident on April 29, 2025.
Arrival day: June 28, 2026. Departure day: July 4, 2026. Virtual participation will not be possible at this conference.

Two Special OCNMP Issues: Two Special Issues will be published in the journal Open Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics (OCNMP), namely
- A Special Issue in Memory of Wilhelm I Fushchich, edited by Marianna Euler and Norbert Euler. For further details please visit the following Link.
- A Special Issue in Honour of Jarmo Hietarinta, edited by Norbert Euler, Rafael Hernandez Heredero and Da-jun Zhang. For further details please visit the following Link.
Note: The above two Special Issues are now Open for Submissions. The two Special Issues will also serve as the Proceedings for this conference although participation in the Conference is not a requirement to contribute an article to these Special Issues.
Aim and Scope: This conference aims to bring together experts to meet, report and discuss their research progress on all aspects of nonlinear mathematical physics, with a focus on integrable and exactly solvable systems. The main subjects of the conference correspond with the scope of the journal OCNMP. The Participants are encouraged to point out open problems in their presentations.
Conference Fee: Your payment must be received by May 20, 2026 (the bank details will be provided later on). The fee is as follows:
- For Regular Participants: 190 Euro.
- For ISNMP Members: 150 Euro.
- For Students: 160 Euro.
The following will be covered by the conference fee:
- Two coffee/tea breaks per day with savory pastries and cakes;
- Gerolsteiner mineral water in three variations in glass bottles: full sparkel, medium sparkel and natural non-carbonated spring water, to which you can help yourself throughout the duration of the conference;
- A Social Dinner will take place on Wednesday July 1st, starting at 19:00 at the traditional German restaurant Alt Ems in Bad Ems. A three-course meal will be provided free of charge to all participants (and 30 Euro for accompanying persons);
- The Excursion (see below) on July 2nd will partially be covered by the conference fee.
- Individual conference stationeries will be supplied for each participant.
Deadlines: Registration must be done by April 7, 2026. Download the Registration Form here. Submission of Abstracts by May 1, 2026. Payment of the conference fee must be received by May 20, 2026. More details on the Abstract submissions, and how to pay the conference fee will be posted here later on.
Accommodation: The Häckers' Grand Hotel offers the following Special Price for our participants: 130 Euro for a Single Room per night, which includes breakfast; 250 Euro for a Double Room per night, which includes breakfast. Please also note that there is plenty of other affordable accommodation availabe in Bad Ems that you can explore on the booking.com website.

Travel: Bad Ems can easily be reached by train from any airport in Germany. Visit the Deutsche Bahn website to book your train tickets. Note: The town Bad Ems has two train stations, namely "Bad Ems West" and "Bad Ems". The "Bad Ems" train station is near Häckers' Grand Hotel.

Excursion: A bus excursion is planned for the afternoon of July 2nd to the Stolzenfels Castle and the town Boppard along the Rhine River. The costs for the excursion will be 35 Euro per person (in addition to the conference fee mentioned above). Please note that the excursion will only take place if a sufficient number of participants register themselves for the excursion on the above provided registration form.
